Sarah Wolfe

Sarah grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico developing photographs from film with her dad in their home darkroom. Her love for photography began here, cracking open the film case in the dark and learning to enlarge photos and process them through all the stages. That love of photography has continued and brought her to teaching at the Academy.

She attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, earning a degree in Biblical Studies. After living in a commune in Chicago, street preaching in Amsterdam and Szeged, Hungary and working in radio in Albuquerque, California and Tennessee she finally settled down and married Nashvillian Steve. They moved together to Vancouver, British Columbia where she completed her MA in Theological Studies, and if she would ever finish her Thesis she would have her ThM from Regent College as well.

Sarah and Steve have been homeschooling their children since 2013 and have had children at Academy since 2014. Nathaniel and Samuel are both currently attending the Academy, with Zachary graduating in 2019. Maddie is super excited to be a Whitlet this year. Sarah is excited to join the Academy tutors in teaching Photography this year.
