Mary Grace Gardner
Mary Grace was raised in the great state of Texas where her father was an attorney by day and an artist by night. He was raised by a mom who was a nurse by day and artist by night. So, it's no wonder that Mary Grace has 'an artist heart'. She received her BFA from Baylor University and an education degree from the University of Dallas. In Dallas, Mary Grace taught art for many years in the Highland Park School district, the Young Arts Program and at the Dallas Museum of Art. She moved to Nashville twenty-five years ago and has 3 children with 'art hearts'. While here, Mary Grace has: taught art; led many contemplative artist retreats; written 4 books; started a successful furniture re-purposing business and; most recently, bought and renovated a Victorian home in downtown Nashville. Mary Grace's husband teaches in the MBA program at Bethel University.
"My goal for everyone is to become in tune with their 'art heart' - which is their authentic form of communication."
