Dr. Anne Elise Napier
Anne Elise Napier likes variety in her life. Trained as a Veterinarian, she has practiced as a country vet, a mobile ultrasonographer, an emergency vet, a small animal vet, and a zoo vet. The variety of animal species that she has treated gives her a great appreciation for the exquisite detail present in each and every living organism. She brings this love to the teaching of General Biology and Advanced (Anatomy and Physiology) Biology at The Academy Tutorial. She has a special interest in encouraging students to pursue their own passions in research and medicine and strives to make every class as practical as possible with real life examples. She is married to the Earl of Catan and is the mother to three articulate and animated Academy students of whom she is very proud. She loves making art and music in her spare time, especially teaching elementary students in the Children's School of Worship at Belmont Church. She shares life with a few animals including hounds, Beau and Viloulah, Lucille Ball the python, several horses, an intermittent chicken flock, and a donkey named Luci and likes nothing more than being outside.
